Can you cook with cards ?
-Trailer-
In Let's Cook, yes ! Your aim is to combine ingredient cards, taking into account their type and value, to create a dish that satisfies your customer. This is a roguelite game, so you'll also need to manage your resources to get as far as you can. Add to this the turn-by-turn mechanic, so you'll need to plan your next actions in order to finish the level without your customer having to wait too long.
At the start of the project, I was appointed Lead Game Designer, so my main role was to share the project's progress in game design with the programmers. In addition, I played a major role in creating the game's main features and Gameflow.
I also took part in QA testing and integration at the end of the project.

My work
Throughout the project, I played a major role in creating the features. The aim was to create cards with different rules that would force the player to regularly change his way of playing. As the game is turn-based, it was necessary to create dilemmas so that the player would need to think about his next move.
To facilitate the creation of game features and their development, I also created a Game Design Document in which I described the features as precisely as possible, and indicated the tools we would need for integration and balancing.
This gave the team a document on which to draw if they had any questions about how the game would work, and facilitated exchanges within the group.
